Welcome to EUREC, a network connecting Research Ethics Committees (RECs) and ethics experts across Europe.

The European Network of Research Ethics Committees (EUREC) brings together national research ethics committees (RECs) associations, networks, and comparable initiatives at the European level. The network promotes capacity building and assistance for local RECs to cooperate in the EU European Research Area. As an umbrella organisation, EUREC interlinks European RECs with other bodies relevant to research ethics like the European Commission's ethical review system and the European Medical Association (EMA). EUREC cooperates with organisations that support research ethics and is involved in many existing EU-funded projects.
